We made it back from Colorado and the bottom line is - Paul is a trooper! We first headed over to Damian's new house, which is so cute and so Damian! Then to the big white suburban to head for the mountains! We stayed in Fraser Colorado in my uncle's cabin which is surround by scenic beauty. We went fly fishing and caught NOTHING apparently due to extremely high water levels. But that's the way fishing goes sometimes. Frustrating but still fun. We also tried out the alpine slide in Winter Park and went hiking along the continental divide. We tried to hike some other places but were attacked by hoards of mosquito. At one point I looked at Dad and he had 30+ skeeters on his back. We booked it to the car! For the 4th we watched the fireworks in Fraser and Paul was amazed. He got to stay up way past his bedtime but managed to stay in a great mood and really enjoyed the fireworks. We really wish we could have spent more time up there. The weather was a perfect 65 during the day and 40 at night. It was a much needed break from the heat.
