Thanks to my wonderful Uncle Steve, Dave and I were able to take a camping babymoon to West Texas! We borrowed his pop up camper, loaded the car up and headed out West. Our first stop was Caprock Canyon State Park, in Quitaque, TX. The first night we really roughed it, seeing that it was barely 32 degrees and pouring down rain. Surprisingly it was nice and the rain in the camper kind of sang us to sleep! From there on out perfect sunny weather!! Second stop was Palo Duro Canyon State Park, in Canyon, TX. You would have never known it was there until you are right up on it and the extremely flat plains give way to a HUGE canyon in the middle of nowhere. It the second largest canyon in the U.S. and was absolutely beautiful!! Last stop, was Possum Kingdom State Park, in Caddo TX. Tried out some new fishing rods and reels without any luck but the breeze of the lake was so very relaxing!! Dave and I had such a great week. We did a lot of hiking, geocaching, and relaxing. Just what we needed before Baby # 2 arrives :)
