Today we headed to Grapevine for a Day Out With Thomas the Train! Paul was so excited and bursting with energy the whole way there! He couldn't wait to ride Thomas, a real choo -choo train!
When the conductor yelled, "All Aboard", Paul wanted to run as fast as he could to the train to get seats by the window.
Joseph didn't really know what to think once the train started moving. He was busy looking out the window.
Paul thought it was so fun to stick his hands, feet, and head out the window.
All smiles on this train.
The conductor came by to stamp all the tickets and I think he scared Paul a little bit.
Joseph liked the conductor and smiled ear to ear at him.
Paul received his Jr. Engineer Certificate and is officially part of the Thomas Club.
It was perfect day for the windows to be open!
Joseph was totally into the whole train ride!

We had to make a stop at the sand box for little play in the shade.
Paul wanted his picture infront of the windmill because he said it was making all the wind outside :)
We couldn't leave without a stop to the souvenir store for some Thomas shirts, stickers, and a new train set. It was such a fun day and we were impressed with how authentic this whole shindig was. Next year were are so going back!!! It was too much fun not to!
