Dallas Zoo

We headed out first thing this morning for a family day at the Zoo.  This was Joseph's first time to the Zoo and he was amazed at everything around him!  He actually stayed in the stroller for quite some time and was happy about it.

.
The Children's Zoo was first and Paul wanted to get his fishing pole when he saw the fish, but settled for hand feeding them instead!  He now wants a pet fish, named Fishy!

The goats provided great entertainment!  Paul also wants a pet goat that he can feed hay and will tickle him.

He wasn't scared at all, when the goats were jumping the fence to get to the food.

This black one was his favorite and he followed him around everywhere.  He said he will name it Goaty?

Notice the goat behind Dave, feasting on his shirt!

Paul was trying to feed this goat some hay and couldn't understand why he wouldn't wake up.  He kept saying ,"Good Morning Goat, Breakfast time!"

Joseph had no clue what to think of the goats.  They licked his hand and he laughed but he was more interested in trying to eat some hay too!

Joesph has a pretty sweet ride here

I have a feeling that our house will be filled with pets one day.  Paul also wants a Gerbil named Hay that he can hold.  NO- POPS AND G DO NOT GET US ONE!!!

Of course we had to stop and play in the water.  It's as good as washing your hands, right?

Next to the bird habitat where Dave made some new friends!

Paul was a little hesitant at first, especially when 4 landed on him at the same time, but he didn't freak out :)

In fact, he loved it!  He had his little stick of food and was totally cool with birds landing where ever.

After feeding these guys, he also wants a pet bird, named Birdie.

Lastly, we rode a jungle safari choo-choo train and thank God we didn't see any more animals Paul wanted as pets.  We just waved at them and rode under a waterfall.  Joseph loves those trains too, and Dave had him laughing the whole time!

What a fun way to spend a Sunday!  Both boys are exhausted and fast asleep!  The day's not over.....we have a four wheeler to ride tonight!

Glad Paul didn't name me - guess I would be Uncle-y.
