FINALLY!!

Finally!!! We now have a website. Welcome to the world of Team Thompson OKC.

We plan to keep this page really up to date with pictures and posts, as we embark on our journey as PARENTS! We wonder why we waited so long to become parents, because everyday is such a joyous blessing. It has been quite comical at times, not to mention somewhat frustrating, but we are finally getting the hang of the parent thing and enjoying every minute. We now have the projectile #2 under control and he can't sneak them past us anymore!

Paul will be 6 weeks old tomorrow and I can't believe how fast time is already flying by. We try to weigh him at home and think that he weighs about 11 1/2 pounds. He is growing so much and this morning we got our first SMILE!!! Dave and I were changing his diaper, doing our usual "smile, please smile" and by golly he did it!! He smiled so big several times and we were shocked! It was awesome!!! He likes us, he really likes us! Now we are in his face every chance we get, trying to make him do it again. We are probably scaring him :)

We have also tried several outings. We have gone out to eat a couple of times, and he has been such a good sleeping baby. From what we hear, this is the time to do those sort of things, before they start throwing food, etc. Thanks to mom we finally found a mosquito net and can now bring him out on the back patio while we are grilling. The weather has been so beautiful lately.

We have also had the pleasure of many visitors coming to OKC and really enjoyed sharing Paul with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
