We're Back!!!

We're back from one of the best vacations we've ever had. We jammed packed this one with just about everything you can see in 10 days! Here's a short overview :)

We started off renting a car in the Netherlands and driving south, first stopping in Kinderjidk, Holland to see the windmills. Vast fields of cows and windmills which was
classic picturesque Holland. We then headed to Brugge, Belgium for a quick stopover and city tour and then to Honfleur, France for our first night. Next morning we were off to the Normandy Landing Beaches, American WWII Cemetery, and Point Du Hoc. It was a humbling and emotional experience to see these sights and imagine everything that took place there. We then spent a couple hours visiting Mont Saint Michel and then spent the night in Rennes. Next morning we headed to Bordeaux where we were surrounded by beautiful vineyards and sampled the local wine. Next morning we stopped in St. Emillion and then to Usse', where we saw the chateau that inspired the fairy tail Sleeping Beauty. We then visited Chateau De Chenonceau and then spent the night at Chateau De Pray. Next morning off to Chateau de Chambord, Versailles, and Paris. We walked and walked and walked all around Paris, seeing all the sights. Last day we went from Paris to Brussels, Belgium and back to the Netherlands to head back home.

It was such a wonderful vacation and we are so thankful to Grammy and Papa for watching Paul while we were away. We were so excited to see Paul when we got back, we missed him so much!
