Let's Go To The Fair!

The State Fair of Oklahoma did not disappoint yesterday.  As always the people watching is the most entertaining of all the events.  I always wonder what the heck some of these folks are thinking when they step out into public.  I guess it takes all kinds to make the worlds go round, but seriously there are some wacky people out there.  Paul and Joseph really enjoyed the fair.  It was a beautiful day, slightly hot but a nice breeze blowing.  We went to the chainsaw show, where Paul was picked out of the crowd to get a specially made mini chair from the chainsaw guys.  He was so excited he wanted to sit on it, but even his small bum won't fit. So now it's puppy's chair :)  Next we saw the Frisbee catching and dock jumping dogs, and Paul went wild with excitement and was barking in the crowd.  Lastly we stopped by the sealion show, which was really neat.  We walked by a tractor expo and Paul went absolutely nuts!  He is obsessed with tractors and we had to look at every hitch, tire, steering wheel, step, and engine there was.  He was in absolute heaven.  Apparently, Pops drives everyone of those tractors - so your a lucky man Pops!  Daddy also won Paul a new car and we dined on pork chop sandwiches (Damian that one was for you), corny dogs, pizza, and chocolate covered bacon.  Yes, that is correct CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON!!  Really??!!??!!  We walked past it and were too curious not to stop and sample.  It was actually disgusting but won some sort of prize for most creative fair food.  It was cripsy bacon, dipped in chocolate, topped with salt and frozen.  If you ask us, its just a bucket full of lard :) But of course that is part of the adventure at the fair.  Paul and Joseph were totally wiped out after the fair and we plan on heading back this week to scope out the farm animals.  When the fair is here is means Fall is around the corner!!!!
