Where else would we be on July 4th weekend? Lake Texoma, of course! Although we had to cut our trip short, due to two really sick boys, we still had a blast while we could!
Joseph explored Paul's cup with a straw and thought this is way better than a bottle!
Paul loves being outside even though it's 100+ degrees! Just look at that smile!
We partook in the annual golf cart parade, forgot decorations, but who needs them when you have flames painted on instead!
Joseph caught a sucker in the parade and loved it despite all the dirt he got on it!
A break in the shade was a definite must this weekend!
We couldn't find a box turtle for the turtle races but we cheered them on anyways, and I think the boys may have placed a bet or two~
Joseph learned how to drink out of a water bottle!

Then back to the BBQ for some more fun!
The BBQ was great and everyone got a 4th of July cupcake!
Even though they were quite messy and half melted
We couldn't play in the sand very long, without burning our feet off
So we opted to head home and play with some snap dragons! Paul thought these were the coolest thing he has ever done! He loved them and I can't wait to get him more! Typical boy!
We all loaded up in the golf cart and headed to the beach, once it cooled off!
Joseph and Paul now have to take turns driving the golf cart. He loves it as much as Paul does!
Daddy brought his remote control boat to drive!
