Frisco is full of really fun family activities, and Safety Town has to be one of the best. Friday nights are family night so we took the boys down to the Frisco Fire Station. They have a miniature city, called Safety Town, where kids learn all about SAFETY!!! They can drive Jeeps down real roads with stop lights, one way streets, stop signs, railroad tracks - the real deal! You go into each little house and can play putt putt golf, have story time, learn about hydration, make a first aid kit. It was so authentic! Afterwards you go into the fire station and can drive a real firetruck, try on firemen suits, and learn all about fire safety and equipment. They have this cool simulator that blows smoke out like the roofs on fire to teach kids what to do in case of a fire. We were so impressed with this place. I can't wait to take some more friends there - it was just so much fun! The coolest thing .......it was FREE!!!
