The final step in our multi-day Christmas project was decorating the tree! We blasted some Christmas music, rocked around the Christmas tree, then placed the ornaments! Joseph loves staring at the tree and all the colorful lights so he chilled on his blanket while Paul, Daddy, and I put on all the ornaments! Paul being the independent 2 year old wanted to do all the ornaments by himself so we let him :) Turns out he is a pretty good ornament hanger and really got a kick out of hanging them on different branches! He dressed for the occasion in his cowboy hat, boots, and belt and placed his new special puppy ornament right where we can see it everyday! We have our first homemade ornament, Paul made it at school and it is already my favorite! It is a leaf and tree Paul painted and I can't wait to have the tree covered in homemade ornaments from the boys!
